A position is available for an Occupational Therapist (maternity replacement) at the Comox Valley Child Development Association. The successful candidate will provide OT assessments through observation, and formal and informal testing. Develop goals for the Individualized Service Plan (ISP) in cooperation with families. Provide therapy services on a one-to-one basis, or in small groups, designed to implement the goals identified in the ISP. Provide reports and anecdotal notes in child's integrated file. Attend team, agency and community meetings as required.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university is required. Must be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) and be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC (COTBC). Must have previous paediatric experience with children from birth to five years of age.
