Job Summary: Implementing best practice in pediatric speech and language assessment and intervention in a family-centred service delivery model in conjunction with pediatric intervention team. Job Duties: Initial Consultations, Assessments and Intervention for a range of communication disorders and delays in the preschool population served by The Centre for Child Development of the Lower Mainland. Assessment and intervention services are offered at the Surrey and Langley Sites as well as Lookout Preschool in Delta and at other preschools, daycares, and family homes. Qualifications: Masters' Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC Experience working with children with multiple disabilities aged birth to 6 years and their families Successful criminal record check, valid driver's license, satisfactory driver's abstract and access to a vehicle. Knowledge of Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu or other second language and basic Hanen certification are each considered assets.
