An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Speech Language Pathologist with the Child Development Centre in Prince George. The position’s start date is negotiable.
You will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team of professionals. Reporting to the Chief SLP, this position will provide early intervention therapy services to children from birth to school entry. The Therapist will primarily provide services in Prince George, with monthly overnight visits to surrounding communities. We follow a family-centred philosophy and practice, working within a multidisciplinary team. The position offers a very competitive salary with an excellent benefit package under the Health Sciences Professionals Agreement. Training and on-site mentoring is available, and we can provide assistance with moving expenses.
The successful candidate will be eligible for membership with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada, and will have graduated from a Speech Language Pathology program from a recognized post-secondary institution. The successful applicant will also have completed an acceptable criminal records check and have a valid British Columbia driver's license. Upon hire, you must be an active registrant of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.
