Reporting to the Director, Rehabilitation Services, the Physiotherapist is responsible for providing physical therapy including assessment, treatment planning, intervention and evaluation of outcomes for referred patients and for delivering clinical services in accordance with the professional and ethical standards of the College of Physical Therapists of BC and the goals, objectives, policies and guidelines of the Forensic Psychiatric Services Commission. The position also serves as an active participant on unit-based interdisciplinary health care teams and actively participates in setting and evaluating treatment goals and discharge planning for patients.
Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
* Graduation from a recognized university with an approved program in Physiotherapy.
* Two (2) years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
* Current full registration with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia (CPTBC)
* Eligible for membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC). |
