We're seeking a physiotherapist to serve school-aged children with special needs that will help to elevate them to their highest level of independent functioning. You will assist students in meeting their educational goals, while providing comprehensive consultation with family members, teachers and teaching assistants. Physiotherapy serves school-aged children with special needs to achieve optimal independence and to assist them in meeting their educational goals. The therapist provides consultative service for family members, teachers and teaching assistants to support the studentís participation, inclusion and access to learning opportunities with the goal of achieving the studentís highest level of independent functioning.

Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized program
A minimum of two years' recent related pediatric experience in a community setting; care management experience, clinical experience in assessment of children with physical/neurological/developmental problems, implementation of functional therapy programs and experience with equipment issues, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC). If applying from outside BC, please note eligibility.
Eligible for membership with the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).
Valid BC Drivers License. Local area travel requires the use of a personal vehicle for which mileage reimbursement is paid.
