SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
(EXEMPT FROM TEACHERSí UNION)
A continuing, full-time position exists for an Itinerant Speech Language Pathologist based in Hazelton to start as soon as possible (flexible).
The caseload involves speech language therapy, evaluation, counselling, and monitoring of the communication development of referred students. The successful applicant will also provide in-service and awareness training for classroom teachers and support staff. This is a 12-month position with six weeks of annual vacation to be taken during non-instructional time. The successful applicant must have a valid BC driverís license and will be required to travel.
Qualifications: Have, or be working towards, a Masterís degree in Speech Language Pathology and be eligible for membership in the
BC Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists
