We’re looking for a dynamic Physiotherapist to join our team! Status: Temporary part time (0.6 FTE). Location: Penticton-with some travel to our outlying communities. Use of personal vehicle required. Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week to be scheduled; some flexibility in hours required. Wage & Benefits: In accordance with the HSA Agreement Paramedical Subsector. Closing Date: February 19, 2018 This is us: OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre is a vibrant organization providing pediatric habilitation/rehabilitation services including clinical therapy and support programs. Our collaborative multidisciplinary team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, early childhood educators, family support workers, behaviour interventionists and psychologists. We are looking for a physiotherapist to join our team. This temporary job will run from late February to the end of September, 2018. The successful candidate will provide consultation, assessments, program planning, treatment and follow up for children in the birth to school age population with a variety of developmental concerns. This position involves working within an interdisciplinary team to provide early intervention services for children, using a family-centred care model. This is you: We seek a dynamic physiotherapist, with experience in pediatric physical therapy and early intervention therapies. A good fit is a PT who is engaging, energetic and collaborative; someone who has passion for effective multidisciplinary practice and a demonstrated commitment to the relentless pursuit of excellence in care. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES ¥ A minimum of one year's recent pediatric clinical experience ¥ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ¥ Eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association ¥ Member in good standing of the College of Physical Therapists of BC ¥ Ability to provide an acceptable criminal record check ¥ Ability to provide professional references ¥ Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid BC driver’s license.
