Job Description:
An exciting opportunity exists for a full time Occupational Therapy position with the Child Development Centre of Prince George and District. This is a one year term position with a proposed start date of July 30, 2018 (negotiable). You will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled, knowledgeable and experienced team of professionals. Reporting to the Chief Occupational Therapist, the Staff Occupational Therapist will provide services to infants and children (birth to school entry) as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Occupational Therapist has the opportunity to provide services in Prince George and to surrounding communities. We follow a family-centred philosophy and practice from a community-based perspective. The successful candidate will be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia, will be eligible for membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and will have graduated from an Occupational Therapy Program from a recognized post-secondary institution. You must have an acceptable criminal records check and hold a valid British Columbia driver's license.
