This evidence-based, 2 day, interactive course will introduce the participant to the neuromusculoskeletal assessment and management of the child with cerebral palsy. This will include a review of relevant literature as well as an opportunity to apply clinical reasoning through case examples and discussion. Following completion of the course, participants can be expected to gain an understanding of:
- The assessment of the child with cerebral palsy across GMFCS levels, including visual gait analysis.
- Common musculoskeletal complications seen in the developing child with CP
- Orthopaedic, tone management, and physiotherapy strategies utilized in the management of CP.
