South Peace Child Development Centre

The South Peace Child Development Centre is funded by Ministry of Children and Family and provide early intervention services for the South Peace Region.  The centre, established in 1982, holds the contracts for Infant Development, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Supported Child Development, Family Education, Building Blocks and Lifeskill / Respite contracts.

Through our multi disciplinary team we serve 400 families per year.  A busy centre with a Family Centre Service delivery model for children zero to school entry.  Our team is enthusiastic and progressive in our pediatric model of service.

Located in the beautiful South Peace region of British Columbia. Dawson Creek is close to the foothills of the Rockies and offers easy access to camping, hiking, biking, skiing and sledding. Dawson Creek is Mile Zero of the Alaska Highway and is considered to be the gateway to the North, the Yukon and Alaska.
