  3. Journey with Purpose
Travel to rural and remote First Nations communities, including occasional overnight stays, to ensure access to vital care.
  4. Deliver Holistic Care
Provide culturally responsive speech and language therapy services tailored to Indigenous children and youth.
  5. Empower Families
Collaborate with families to create individualized care plans that reflect their cultural practices, values, and traditions.
  6. Bridge Connections
Liaise with community resources such as schools, health centers, and Indigenous organizations to ensure seamless care.
  7. Collaborate for Impact
Work alongside a multidisciplinary mobile team in partnership with Denisiqi Services Society and the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre to offer holistic support to children and youth.
  8. Innovate and Adapt
Demonstrate creativity, flexibility, and cultural sensitivity in service delivery.
  9. Mentorship Opportunities
Access guidance and support from experienced speech and language therapists while contributing your unique skills.
  10. Maintain Professional Standards
Keep detailed records in line with Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre policies and College of Health and Care Professionals of B.C. standards.
  11. Uphold Integrity
Recognize professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality while serving these vibrant communities.
