September 6&7, 2019 MOVE (Mobility Opportunity through Education/Experience)

Basic Provider Training

Presenter: Julie Sues-Delaney

A two-day comprehensive, certificated program for parents, professional, and support providers teaching individuals with disabilities in schools, adult care facilities and homes. MOVE provides opportunities for individuals to increase mobility skills in sitting, standing, walking, and transitioning while participating in activities of daily living.

Participants will learn the:
• Purpose, principles, and philosophy behind the MOVE Program
• Six steps of MOVE
• Importance of using the Top-Down Motor Milestone Test (TDMMT) and data collection
• Benefit of using equipment while teaching
• And, much more!
