Workload/Caseload Management Tools
The following documents provide guidance and tools to assist in managing workloads and prioritizing referrals for pediatric therapists. The first three resources were created as an initiative led by The Office of the Provincial Paediatric Therapy Recruitment and Retention Coordinator in British Columbia.

Is a points-based caseload measure for community based paediatric occupational and physiotherapists.
Promoting Manageable Workloads in British Columbia
Provides background information for the development of provincial guidelines for manageable workloads for speech-language pathologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists in pediatric settings.
Health Canada has funded the development of an Interprofessional Caseload Management Planning Tool for employers and clinicians. The tool is most thoroughly described on the Canadian Physiotherapy Association website. It free for members of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, The Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada. For all others it can be purchased for $75.
