Reports to: A Director in our Medical Rehab Division
Job Duties:
Support clinicians in providing direct services to children and independently implement intervention activities as designed and supervised by professional clinicians. Responsibilities include maintaining, setting up and dismantling equipment, assisting in running group session in our therapeutic pool and in therapy rooms, creating customized communication supports, adapting toys, managing inventory and equipment orders, overseeing equipment loan programs, coordinating workshop registrations, all while creating a safe and nurturing environment where children and their families can thrive and feel truly welcomed.
Qualifications:
- SLP Diploma - SLP Assistant
- Two years related work experience
- Pediatric experience preferred but not essential
- Computer literacy and expertise with various forms of technology
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience would be considered
- Valid BC driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Criminal Record Review acceptable to the Centre
