School Age Occupational Therapist

The Occupational Therapist provides direct therapy services to children.  Assesses, plans and carries out individually designed programs of physical treatment appropriate to the child’s health requirements and daily living environment which are designed to help the child live, play and work with optimum physical functioning. The Occupational Therapist uses and promotes a family centred approach and mentors parents/caregivers in helpful strategies for the child. The Occupational Therapist is a dedicated and knowledgeable member of the comprehensive children’s support team.
