Hiring 2 Skilled BCBA’s to Meet Our Growing Demand
Role: Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
Responsible to: Early Intervention Supervisor & Autism Intervention Supervisor
Status: 2.0 FTE – Full-Time Permanent (37.5 hours per week) or .8 opportunity
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 8:30 – 4:30 or 9:00 -5:00 with some flexibility in hours
Location: Penticton, BC with some travel to outlying communities
Classification: Wage Schedule I – HSA

About Okanagan-Similkameen Neurological Society
The OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre is a vibrant, not-for-profit organization providing clinical
intervention and support services to children and youth with a variety of developmental supported
needs. We work in a family-centered, child-focused environment and enjoy close community

About the Opportunity
We are seeking team members who believe in clinical collaboration and knowledge sharing. A clinician who practices effective partnerships with families and has strong communication skills and pediatric clinical passion. OSNS emphasizes employee wellness, professional growth, and development. We hire character and train skills; mentorship is available. Join our team of BCBA's, Therapy Assistants and Behavior Interventionists.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside clinical and non-clinical staff
- Assess children’s skills in areas such as play, cognition, safety, and behavior
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behaviour intervention plans in partnership with Behaviour Interventionists (BIs) and families
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and provide evidence-based interventions
- Provide staff support, training, and mentorship as needed
- Coordinate, lead, or co-lead educational groups for children, youth, and caregivers
- Deliver parent coaching and consultation using a family-centered approach
- Provide culturally safe, inclusive, and sensitive care
- Participate in a variety of service settings, including on-site work, school visits, community outreach, and home-based services
- Foster and maintain strong collaborative relationships within the organization and the broader community
- Perform other related duties as required
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to build and sustain effective, collaborative, and therapeutic relationships with clients, families, and community partners
- Strong time management skills in a fast-paced, play-based clinical environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated clinical judgment, professionalism, and competence
- Experience preparing Positive Behaviour Support Plans
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or a related field
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Registered with or eligible for the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP)
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Valid BC Driver’s License
