Our Speech and Language Program works together with families to help children be successful with communication and feeding.
Communication is an important part of early childhood development. Difficulties with communication or feeding can affect a child's social, emotional, physical, and academic development. Early identification and support can help children build skills and reduce the impact of these challenges.
The SLP Program provides support for children who have been identified with, or may be at risk for, communication and feeding difficulties, including:
- Feeding and swallowing
- Voice quality
- Stuttering
- Hearing
- Use of vocabulary and sentences
- Understanding verbal information
- Production of speech sounds in words
- Use and understanding of basic concepts
- Social interaction and play skills
Reliable vehicle and business insurance required.
