About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Outreach Therapy, a community-based, not-for-profit organization serving children and families across the Alberni-Clayoquot region of Vancouver Island.
Working from a family-centred and strengths-based approach, the Pediatric Physiotherapist providing assessment, intervention, consultation, and education to children with a range of developmental needs.
Services are delivered in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and across a variety of settings, including homes, community spaces, clinics, and virtual platforms.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an innovative and growing organization that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and intervention for pediatric clients
• Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support caregiver capacity through education and coaching
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Promote development and share preventative care strategies for our growing community
Practice Environment
This position serves families in Port Alberni, Tofino, Ucluelet, and surrounding communities within the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District. You will work with diverse populations and cultures, requiring cultural humility, adaptability, and a commitment to inclusive, respectful care.

Qualifications
• Registration in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
• Experience in pediatric physiotherapy (preferred)
• Valid BC driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
• Clear criminal record check
Pediatric Physiotherapist
Start date: As soon as a successful candidate is found
Resumes reviewed, and interviews offered on an ongoing basis
• Current First Aid and CPR-C certification
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
