The Q&DCDC is home to four programs:
The Pregnancy Outreach Program assists clients with strategies to improve nutrition and health and early access to prenatal care, and provides counseling on prenatal health issues and care of infants.
The Infant Development Program supports children from birth to 3 years who have identified disabilities or are at risk for developmental delays. Parents learn how to address their children’s needs either individually or through participation in groups such as Infant Massage, Mother Goose, and Parents & Tots.
Supported Child Development provides identified children up to the age of 18 with the extra support they require to participate inclusively with peers in community childcare settings and other programs. The Youth Action Group provides fun, supervised programs for youth with special needs and their friends.
The Therapy Program consists of Occupational Therapy (preschool and school-age), Physiotherapy (preschool and school-age), and Speech-Language Pathology and provides a range assessment and intervention services for children.
